exposures: new talent in moving image
Welcome to exposures – the UK’s largest festival of students’ moving image work – bringing you the very best in local, national and international student filmmaking.
This year we're extending the scope of the festival to include not only film, but all aspects of the moving image. So, if you have a piece of video work, animation, a visual art installation or even a mobile 'phone movie and you meet the entry criteria, you can now enter it for exposures. Your piece can be made in any genre: drama, documentary, experimental, music video, comedy – whatever you think works best for you; all it has to be is under 30 minutes long.
To enter your work for exposures, you must have been on course at a UK education institution at any time between August 2007 and July 2008. If you were 19 or under during that period, then underexposed, the young filmmakers' strand of the festival is for you.exposures is here to find the filmmaking and moving image talent of the future. Submit your work now and you could be a part of that future.

The Festival - say hello to Urbis
Work selected by the exposures judging panel will be showcased at the festival in November. Another exciting new development for exposures.
underexposed goes national
exposures will again host underexposed, the strand of the festival that champions work by young filmmakers studying at schools, colleges and institutions. This exciting programme is entirely managed by young people from the Livewire team.
